Role & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Regions and Markets to define clear market prioritisation, portfolio focus, pricing and channel strategy, and distribution targets
  • Secure alignment on key Region and Market P&L levers and lead all commercial interactions between Regions/Markets and Maison departments (Marketing, Finance, Operations)
  • Ensure the quality of key Market Brand and Commercial plan submissions and oversee their effective implementation in market
  • Ensure quality and consistency of market forecasting and act as the 'voice of the market' within the Maison, advocating for necessary support
  • Lead internal and external trainings, tastings, and sales engagements as a knowledgeable ambassador and face of the Maison when in market
  • Lead effective measurement, evaluation, and reporting of Regional and key market commercial performance; track and manage risks, opportunities, and ensure annual profit objectives are delivered
  • Conduct regular market visits and business reviews within the Europe Region; act as a respected leader within The Glenmorangie Company, leading by example and contributing positively to company culture

Qualifications

  • International experience in Wines & Spirits, preferably in the Europe Region
  • Proven commercial experience in Sales and/or Marketing with clear commercial understanding and financial acumen
  • Proven track record of direct and indirect people leadership
  • Luxury sensibility and ability to balance short-term commercial decisions with long-term brand building
  • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills; confident presenting to large audiences and senior stakeholders
