Givenchy Wholesale Trainee (New York, hybrid, temporary) — entry‑level wholesale operations role supporting order entry, market prep and reporting. $20/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate market preparation activities including appointment scheduling, showroom seller assignments and logistical planning for showroom shoots and trunk shows.
  • Support order lifecycle: order setup, data entry, master order compilation, order note generation, validation/confirmation communications and final PDF confirmations.
  • Maintain and update wholesale operational trackers including Master Budget File, RTV Tracker, Distribution records, Sample Tracker and Co‑op Marketing Tracker.
  • Extract and analyse sales data (Skypad) to update style selling files, sell-through reports and support monthly SIS presentations and HQ seasonal sell‑through reporting.
  • Facilitate account setup and VIP access, assist with EDI outreach for major partners and secure PO numbers for CAD/LATM partners.
  • Provide logistical support for marketing (asset organisation, campaign logistics, 360 calendar updates), product launches and in‑season/store activations.
  • Prepare store visit briefings, schedule PK trainings, communicate VM guidelines, and coordinate travel and event logistics for key market visits.
  • Support end‑of‑season processes including SOR/Consignment/RTV communication, markdown timing and partner reconciliation.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program or recent graduate in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrable proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills strongly preferred.
  • Excellent organisational ability, strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise across internal teams and external partners.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment; proactive, self‑motivated and eager to learn.
  • Genuine interest in luxury fashion and the Givenchy brand; collaborative team player with a resilient, positive attitude.
