Givenchy seeks Senior HR Manager in Paris to oversee talent development, recruitment, and HR strategy for 150+ employees across creative and production teams.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes in collaboration with Talent Acquisition, managing candidate evaluation, offer formalization, and probationary period support for approximately 150 full-time employees across Design, Product, Production, Industrialization, and Workshop teams
  • Serve as primary HR contact for employees and managers, conducting regular career conversations and facilitating professional development planning aligned with individual career aspirations
  • Partner with Learning & Development to design and implement targeted training programs and support group mobility initiatives
  • Train and accompany managers through performance evaluation processes, maintain oversight of their execution, and organize annual talent reviews including succession planning and calibration exercises
  • Collaborate with the Compensation & Benefits team on annual remuneration reviews, promotion implementation, and position mapping
  • Manage individual employment separations including resignations, amicable terminations, and formal dismissals with attention to legal compliance
  • Contribute to organizational design evolution by identifying and implementing structural improvements that enhance operational efficiency and anticipate associated HR impacts
  • Support managers in their leadership responsibilities and daily team management within a transformational context
  • Champion and pilot strategic HR initiatives, particularly knowledge transmission programs within couture workshops, partnerships with Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, and LVMH Centers of Excellence projects
  • Participate in Syndicat des Firmes de Couture meetings and contribute to satisfaction surveys and workplace environment projects at the headquarters level
  • Manage and develop a direct report (intern/junior HR professional)

Qualifications

  • Approximately 10 years of HR experience in generalist HR functions, with demonstrated expertise in fashion and knowledge of creative and/or product functions
  • Fluent proficiency in both French and English
  • Strong knowledge of French labor law and HR practices with professional judgment in balancing individual and collective organizational interests
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to build trust across all hierarchical levels and diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Demonstrated capacity to embrace change and guide individuals and teams through organizational transitions
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities with problem-solving orientation and proactive, solution-focused mindset
  • Rigor combined with initiative-taking and readiness to challenge organizational assumptions in service of continuous HR process improvement
