Givenchy seeks a Senior Account Executive in New York to drive wholesale growth, manage major retail accounts, and lead a team within luxury fashion.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Wholesale Director to develop and finalize seasonal forecasts, strategic matrix files, and budget projections for specialty stores and major accounts; lead management of the master budget file for new seasons including client OTB finalization
- Conduct comprehensive business reviews and strategic market analysis; strategically schedule and coordinate all market appointments, including assigning showroom sellers and executive leadership walk-throughs
- Lead key market appointments, drive sales and foster strong client relationships; oversee creation and distribution of master on-orders, linesheets, pricing, and information notes to partners
- Manage the order log, reconcile actual orders against budget, and conduct detailed reviews of assortment, allocations, units, and sizing; formulate strategic suggestions for assortment optimization and lead negotiations for incremental OTB and swap opportunities
- Conduct in-depth data analysis from Skypad to update weekly, fiscal, and seasonal selling reports; develop and present comprehensive leadership slides by Monday, providing total business overview and key highlights
- Lead business reviews with partners to identify current performance and growth opportunities; manage and update inventory trackers and actively action RTVS/swaps to optimize sell-through
- Oversee sample ordering, tracking, and closet management; strategically assist in execution of marketing campaigns and manage communication on co-op performance marketing budgets by client and season
- Coordinate PK trainings in stores and plan store visits and travel schedules based on key markets; manage Wholesale Trainee reporting and development
- Develop and communicate markdown and full-price suggestions to HQ based on current inventory and partner needs; finalize and communicate markdown lists and break dates with partners
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in wholesale account management within luxury or high contemporary fashion, with strong emphasis on maintaining and optimizing relationships with major department stores
- Proven ability to manage complex accounts, anticipate challenges, and implement solutions effectively
- Impeccable customer service, problem-solving, and relationship management skills
- Exceptional analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and sales reporting tools
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior-level stakeholders
- Supervisory and management experience with ability to develop team members
- Passion for the fashion and luxury-goods industry
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and proven problem-solving capability
