The Retail Merchandiser for Givenchy's shoes and eyewear categories owns category performance, strategy, growth, sell-through targets, assortments and launches, partnering with regional teams and cross-functional departments and presenting recommendations to senior management. This is a full-time, permanent role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define assortment and cluster strategies, and develop buying strategies by cluster and region for each collection, including the permanent core offer.
  • Organize and lead showrooms, including meetings with regional buyers on assortments, quantity reviews and debriefs, and validate SKU-level quantities by region.
  • Present buying and launch strategies to senior management before and after showrooms.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Collection Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Retail, E-commerce and 360° teams to maximize product launches.
  • Analyze sales, sell-through and stock levels by region and store, and develop action plans with the regions to maximize sell-through.
  • Communicate daily with the regions.
  • Monitor product performance and depth by cluster and store.
  • Recommend reorders and plan product phasing in and out based on product strategy and remaining stock.
  • Define the category budget and build and monitor the OTB in partnership with Supply Chain.
  • Estimate purchases by season, line and style.
  • Balance lines and assortments while staying within OTB.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business and Management, Fashion Business or equivalent.
  • Fluent spoken and written French and English; an additional language is a plus.
  • Strong feel for fashion and product, with a genuine interest in women's footwear.
  • Strong analytical skills and ease working with sales and stock data.
  • Confidence leading meetings with regional buyers and presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Rigor, precision and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit, autonomy and drive.
  • Excellent writing and oral presentation skills.
