Givenchy apprenticeship: Purchasing & Supplies Development Assistant, Ready-to-Wear, Paris. October 2026. 12-month programme.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor development of components and linings in collaboration with manufacturers and internal departments
- Provide sourcing support and identify potential suppliers
- Independently manage component dyeing tracking and budget updates
- Track and coordinate VIP launches with detailed follow-up documentation
- Create production handover books and manage trim boards
- Process purchase orders and monitor supplier delivery; escalate delays
- Actively participate in collection launch events and timeline management
- Update and maintain operational dashboards and software systems
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Fashion School, University, or equivalent programme
- Demonstrated knowledge of textiles and garment supplies (zippers, buttons, closures, linings, metal components, trims, etc.)
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word)
- Fluent English (essential); Italian language skills advantageous
