Givenchy (Paris) seeks a Production Purchasing Assistant (RTW) — 1-year apprenticeship starting Sept 2026 at Paris 8 (Alma-Marceau).
Role & Responsibilities
- Support production purchasing for Men’s and Women’s ready-to-wear: follow production schedules and communicate lead times to production managers and manufacturers.
- Negotiate and secure the balance of quality, cost and delivery (including MOQ) with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Validate and control supplier invoices and follow-up on chargebacks/refacturations.
- Maintain the materials and components master folders for finished-goods manufacturers and ensure certified materials are correctly documented with certificates at transaction.
- Update and maintain operational tracking tools; chase suppliers for transport documents, order confirmations and related paperwork.
- Manage stock oversight and after-sales spare parts (SAV): control subcontractor inventories, analyse and negotiate declared surpluses, organise validated returns/shipments to the warehouse.
- Coordinate operations with the external warehouse: act as primary liaison, monitor shipments and receipts of raw materials, dispatch fabrics/components for PPS (pre-production samples).
- Track claims and order replacement components for after-sales requirements.
Qualifications
- Enrolment in or recent graduate from a business school, engineering school or fashion school (or equivalent) — apprenticeship level.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to synthesize data and produce clear follow-up reports.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team orientation; professional communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Organisation, curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Solid command of Microsoft Office, notably Excel.

Entry-level — suitable for students in an apprenticeship or candidates with limited professional experience in purchasing, production follow-up or logistics within fashion manufacturing.

Business school, engineering school or fashion school level (or equivalent).
