Givenchy seeks a Production Planner to join its Production Team in Florence on a fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Production Manager to ensure adherence to agreed-upon deadlines whilst cultivating strong, proactive relationships with all manufacturing partners through weekly calls, on-site visits, and regular communication to anticipate and mitigate potential operational issues across leather goods, footwear, and jewelry categories.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Monitor the advancement of production across suppliers (leather goods, shoes, jewelry)
  • Plan and track intermediate manufacturing stages
  • Interface with Distribution, Customer Service, and Merchandising departments
  • Plan and validate new season calendars and establish retroplanning schedules
  • Track end-of-season inventory and clearance progression
  • Coordinate production capacity planning with each supplier
  • Manage and advance Master and Technical Data Sheets (TDS) with suppliers
  • Manage systems including SAP, Portal, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platforms

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Business Engineering or Economics
  • Proficiency in data analytics
  • Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical aptitude with demonstrated precision and methodical approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 1–2 years' experience in a similar role within luxury goods or related sectors

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position is EUR 28,000 per annum.
