Givenchy is hiring a Product Development Assistant (Apprenticeship) — Men's Ready-to-Wear in Paris 8. 1-year alternance starting mid-Sept 2026; CERFA required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end product development for the men's ready-to-wear collection, including updating the collection plan and product specification sheets.
  • Maintain and update the PLM system: create and modify models and ensure product information is current.
  • Coordinate sample flow and logistics between internal studios, external suppliers and ateliers; manage sample reception and prototype quality control.
  • Follow up on manufacturing processes with suppliers and contractors, including order tracking, purchase follow-ups and delivery escalations.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams (studios, fabric and trims sourcing, industrialization/quality, merchandising, production, ateliers) to ensure smooth development timelines.
  • Participate in fittings and production checks, verifying measurements, trims and accessories against specifications.
  • Contribute to material development and purchasing activities according to product category requirements.
  • Assist with budget tracking and administrative tasks related to collection launches and show organisation.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or graduate of a business school, university programme, or fashion school; eligibility for an apprenticeship (CERFA and training agreement) is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated product sensibility with strong organisational skills, responsiveness and rigour; ability to work across multiple priorities.
  • Previous internship or alternance experience in product development within a fashion house is desirable.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written); basic knowledge of Italian.
  • Proficient in Pack Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with PLM tools.
