Givenchy seeks a Product Developer for Haute Couture Collections in Paris. Manage VIP/VIC bespoke projects and product development. Contract role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Track and oversee the full development lifecycle of VIP/VIC ready-to-wear pieces, from initial sketches to final delivery
  • Coordinate and manage exchanges with external suppliers, ateliers, and specialized partners, particularly for embroidered pieces and custom developments
  • Serve as the primary liaison between studio, atelier, procurement, production, and external supplier teams
  • Develop and maintain technical nomenclatures, specification sheets, and product information within the PLM system
  • Monitor fittings and coordinate necessary technical adjustments to ensure quality standards
  • Support materials research, procurement tracking, and delivery management of components and finished products
  • Ensure operational continuity of collections and special VIP/VIC developments
  • Anticipate manufacturing constraints and participate in programming development timelines and production schedules
  • Guarantee project advancement within a constantly evolving environment
  • Oversee prototype inspection and coordinate logistics for pieces
  • Manage operational functions essential to departmental performance, including shipping logistics, customs procedures, and manufacturer visits when required

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent from a fashion school (Bac+5)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in fashion product development
  • Proficiency in PLM software and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
  • Fluent French and English (required); Italian is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong product sensibility and passion for design and craftsmanship
