As an employer, the Maison offers a dynamic environment where couture heritage meets contemporary creativity across fashion, accessories, and beauty. Its teams are invited to contribute to a culture shaped by craftsmanship, precision, collaboration, and a refined sense of client experience. Givenchy seeks individuals who combine artistic sensitivity with commercial intelligence, entrepreneurial spirit, and respect for tradition, empowering them to help advance a bold vision of luxury for a new generation.
The Patternmaking and Quality Officer oversees garment industrialization, production fit, technical documentation, quality inspections, and coordination with manufacturers in Italy, France, and Portugal. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Paris.
Role & Responsibilities

- Recommend improvements to patterns, material consumption, and assembly methods without compromising creative intent.
- Organize and conduct fit and production fittings; provide clear, reasoned technical feedback and follow corrections through final approval.
- Check production samples, including pre-production and reference samples, against the Maison’s quality standards.
- Prepare and transmit technical files—including technical sheets, patterns, bills of materials, and assembly instructions—to manufacturers in Italy, France, and Portugal; support their understanding of the garments, anticipate technical challenges, and resolve manufacturing issues promptly.
- Prepare documentation for quality inspections and manage their administrative and documentary follow-up, including validation or blocking.
- Analyze defects raised in inspection reports and propose corrective solutions.
- Work closely with development, purchasing, and production teams to meet collection calendars and development milestones.
- Regularly report on garment progress and flag potential schedule or quality risks.
- Contribute to documenting the Maison’s technical standards and improving industrialization processes, sharing best practices with teams.
