Givenchy Operations Supervisor position in New York City, SOHO boutique. LVMH luxury retail management role, $27–$32/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee boutique operations and enforce compliance with Givenchy and LVMH standards
- Establish collaborative partnerships with Head of Retail Operations, Boutique Director, and store personnel
- Reinforce company policies and procedures with consistent training and oversight
- Propose and implement operational improvements and procedural enhancements on an ongoing basis
- Ensure adherence to Client Relations Management protocols and system standards
- Conduct hands-on operations and systems training for store personnel
- Execute internal audit and control procedures with attention to detail
- Liaise with internal and external departments to support operational objectives
- Develop and lead shortage reduction and loss prevention programs
- Champion risk management initiatives focused on incident reduction and financial loss mitigation
- Drive organizational change and influence teams to deliver results aligned with company goals
- Perform autonomous decision-making with confidence in complex operational scenarios
- Train and mentor store personnel on company policy, procedures, and process understanding
- Set challenging yet realistic team goals and objectives that support company performance
- Analyze situations, provide strategic direction, and coach personnel to achieve desired outcomes
- Report operations key performance indicators and metrics to Boutique Directors
- Forecast operational needs and expenditures with accurate communication to leadership
- Manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects through to successful completion
- Analyze audit results and develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce shortage exposure
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant retail operations or boutique management experience
- Proven track record of profit improvement through shortage reduction initiatives
- Demonstrated success in enhancing store safety practices and operational procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical ability with capacity to assess people and situations effectively
- Proficiency in directing personnel to drive performance improvements
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently and effectively
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in retail operations, boutique management, loss prevention, or related luxury retail environments. Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of implementing shortage reduction programs, improving store safety practices, and achieving measurable operational results.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management, operations, or related field is preferred.
