Givenchy internship: 6-month women's footwear merchandising assistant role in Paris, starting January 2027. Competitive intelligence, collection planning, and retail analysis.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute competitive intelligence monitoring across products, pricing, communications, and distribution channels
- Assist in the development of collection plans and logistics preparation for design review meetings
- Coordinate sketch reviews and product information exchanges with design teams
- Support collection coding processes and creation of showroom sales tools including sales books and briefs
- Manage prototype inventory, photography, and corrections throughout showroom lifecycle
- Maintain sketch records and catalogue information during development and showroom periods
- Produce product information documentation for training and e-commerce platforms
- Track weekly performance metrics, including detailed retail sell-out data and ad-hoc analysis
- Contribute to post-showroom reporting including sell-in analysis, best-seller identification, and KPI summaries
- Prepare end-of-showroom quantitative and qualitative collection performance assessments
Qualifications
- Background in business school, specialized Master's in Fashion, or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated sensitivity to footwear product design and fashion aesthetics
- Prior experience in luxury fashion internship or entry-level role preferred
- Fluent English language proficiency
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and advanced functions (VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Comprehensive Microsoft Office Suite competency
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
- Well-organized approach with demonstrated flexibility and initiative

Entry-level or first internship in luxury fashion; prior similar experience in luxury footwear or accessories merchandising preferred.
Education
Business school graduate, specialized Master's degree in Fashion Management, or equivalent qualification.
