Givenchy (Paris) seeks an Industrialization Patternmaker — technical development, supplier follow-up, and production industrialisation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Translate validated prototypes into production-ready technical patterns and finishes, ensuring fidelity to the stylistic intent.
- Adapt and optimise patterns for industrial manufacturing, improving montages and seams while preserving fit and silhouette.
- Coordinate technical exchanges with studios, product development teams and external ateliers/façonniers to guarantee manufacturability.
- Prepare, maintain and update technical dossiers and specification packs for supplier launches.
- Oversee fittings, validate first articles (têtes de série) and manage technical feedback loops with suppliers.
- Monitor development and production timelines to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with Maison quality standards.
- Identify technical constraints, anticipate quality and production risks, and propose pragmatic process or construction improvements.
- Contribute to continuous-improvement initiatives for manufacturing methods and industrial processes.
Qualifications
- Higher education in patternmaking, fashion technology or garment industry disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in patternmaking, industrialisation or production; luxury goods experience strongly preferred.
- Fluent English (required); Italian is a strong plus.
- Expertise in pattern construction, garment engineering and industrial mounting techniques.
- Proven ability to read, create and update technical dossiers and specification packs.
- Proficiency with PLM systems and standard office IT tools.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, cross-functional coordination and supplier-facing communication.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in patternmaking, industrialisation or production, ideally within luxury fashion or high-end apparel manufacturing.
Education
Higher education (BTS/Diploma or equivalent) in patternmaking, fashion design/technology or garment industry.
Workplace
This position is based in Paris, Île-de-France, France.
