Givenchy seeks an Industrial Cost Controller for Paris 8e to manage cost closings, inventory valuation, and financial reporting (CDI, from October 2026).
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead monthly cost closings for Design, P&L Licences, and Haute Couture departments
- Conduct monthly operational cost monitoring, validate/justify expenses, and support budget management across business units
- Participate in forecasting cycles including annual budgets and revised forecasts
- Manage inventory valuation processes for finished goods and raw materials during monthly closings, including reference selection, consistency controls, and variance analysis
- Analyse standard pricing and inventory revaluations
- Serve as key liaison for subsidiaries on inventory valuation and depreciation matters
- Update depreciation rates monthly in SAP/Anaplan and verify data integrity prior to close cycles
- Oversee consolidated inventory and depreciation reporting during financial closings
- Prepare monthly reports on transportation costs and warehouse operations globally
- Track open purchase orders, particularly for Italian collection costs
- Develop cost tracking and analysis dashboards for operational teams
- Identify variances and recommend corrective actions
- Drive process improvements across cost management and inventory systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a business school or Master's degree in Finance, Cost Accounting, or Audit
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in cost accounting or management accounting
- Proven expertise in inventory management and stock tracking
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to continuous change
- High standards of accuracy and intellectual curiosity
- Affinity for financial systems and process optimization
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- SAP experience highly valued
- Fluency in English and French
- Italian language proficiency preferred

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in cost accounting, with particular expertise in inventory and stock management. Demonstrated track record of managing monthly financial closings and working with enterprise resource planning systems in a luxury goods or manufacturing environment.
Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited business school or Master's degree in Finance, Cost Accounting, Audit, or a closely related discipline.
