Givenchy — EMEA Retail Merchandiser in Paris. Lead category merchandising, assortment planning and cross‑functional execution across EMEA.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product strategy for the Women’s and Men’s categories across EMEA, translating performance into seasonal action plans.
- Perform weekly quantitative and qualitative performance analyses to identify opportunities and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate and deploy 360° corrective initiatives across Supply Chain, Visual Merchandising, Training, Clienteling and Retail Management.
- Ensure store product availability (openings and replenishment) in line with launch calendars through close partnership with Supply Chain and Customer Service.
- Organize seasonal stock consolidation campaigns and inter‑store/regional distribution reviews across Europe.
- Conduct competitor and price‑positioning studies to inform assortment and pricing decisions by season.
- Participate in buying sessions (pre-collection, runway, capsules), provide market feedback and request product adjustments or exclusivities from central teams.
- Define purchase strategy within allocated budget, align forecasts and distribution by cluster and boutique, and integrate orders to meet KPIs (SKU counts, depth).
- Validate sizing in partnership with Supply Chain based on market needs, product fit and client pre-orders.
- Lead product training and collection roll‑outs for retail teams, elevate product knowledge and translate qualitative feedback into training actions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail merchandising, assortment planning or buying, ideally within luxury fashion.
- Proven analytical capabilities with regular use of sales, inventory and KPI analysis to drive decisions.
- Autonomous, results‑oriented mindset with strong cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Keen product sensibility and demonstrable interest in fashion and market trends.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
- Fluent English (spoken and written) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Experience
Minimum five years in a merchandising or buying role, with demonstrable responsibility for assortment, distribution and commercial performance at a regional (EMEA) level — experience in luxury fashion preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in retail merchandising.
