Givenchy is hiring a Costing Officer for Leather Goods in Florence, Italy. Analyze product costs, optimize margins, and support development teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze, report on, negotiate, and identify improved cost solutions from prototype phase through production
- Manage costing timelines and ensure accurate cost assessment across all phases
- Analyze finished product costs and cost incidence of components
- Evaluate alternative cost scenarios and their financial implications
- Collaborate with Development, Industrialization, and Production teams to identify constructive alternatives
- Work with Merchandising and Development teams to achieve target margins
- Review and analyze cost sheets for finished products received from suppliers across leather goods categories
- Maintain and update the Cost Accounting System within the PLM platform
- Prepare comprehensive cost analysis reports and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience in costing, product development, or similar financial analysis roles
- Working proficiency in Italian and English
- Demonstrated knowledge of PLM systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with PLM data entry is advantageous

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a costing, product development, or similar analytical role within the fashion or luxury goods industry, with demonstrated expertise in cost sheet analysis, margin optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
Education
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in a relevant discipline such as Fashion, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.

This position is based in Florence, Tuscany, Italy.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 35,000 per annum.
