Givenchy is seeking a Collection Merchandising Assistant for women's jewelry and eyewear, supporting collection development, showroom preparation, product information and performance analysis. This is a full-time, six-month internship requiring a mandatory internship agreement, starting January 2027, based in Paris 8th arrondissement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor competitors across products, pricing, communications and distribution.
- Contribute to collection plan development and the logistical preparation of development meetings.
- Track sketches and product information with designers.
- Assist with collection coding and the creation of showroom sales tools, including sales books and briefs.
- Manage prototypes from receipt throughout the showroom period, including inventory, photography and corrections.
- Manage sketches and catalogue information during the development and showroom periods.
- Produce product information documents for Training and e-commerce.
- Analyse weekly performance, including detailed retail sell-out tracking and ad hoc analyses.
- Contribute to post-showroom analyses and reporting, including sell-in analyses, best sellers and KPIs, as well as quantitative and qualitative reviews of collection results at the end of the showroom.
Qualifications
- Degree from a business school, a specialised Master's programme in fashion, or equivalent.
- Interest in women's accessories and fashion.
- A first comparable internship in luxury and fashion is appreciated.
- Fluent English is essential.
- Good command of numerical data in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, and overall proficiency in the Office suite.
- Strong interpersonal skills, team spirit, organisation, flexibility and dynamism.
