Givenchy internship: Collection Merchandising Assistant – Women's Leather Goods, Paris, 6 months from January 2027.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct ongoing competitive intelligence on products, pricing, communications, and distribution within women's leather goods
  • Assist in developing collection plans and preparing logistical materials for design development meetings
  • Coordinate with designers on sketch reviews and product information updates
  • Support collection codification and creation of showroom sales tools including sales books and briefing materials
  • Manage prototype inventory, photography, and corrections from reception through the completion of showroom activities
  • Maintain sketch and catalogue information organization during development and showroom periods
  • Produce product information documentation for Training and e-commerce distribution
  • Analyze weekly retail performance through detailed sell-out tracking and periodic sales analysis
  • Contribute to post-showroom analysis reports covering sell-in metrics, best-sellers, and KPIs
  • Participate in end-of-showroom retrospectives with quantitative and qualitative assessment of collection performance

Qualifications

  • Degree from a business school, specialised Master's program in Fashion, or equivalent educational background
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and knowledge of women's leather goods and fashion aesthetics
  • Prior internship or relevant experience in the luxury and fashion sectors is valued
  • Fluent conversational English
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
  • Competence across Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
  • Exceptional organizational ability and attention to detail
