Givenchy apprenticeship for Assistant Collection Merchandiser in Paris; support collection development and commercialization in Men's and Women's accessories.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct competitive intelligence on assortment, price mapping, communication, and distribution channels
- Manage product launches and oversee collection development, updating development tools and product catalogue referencing
- Develop collection briefs (six annually) for the Design Studio and construct strategic collection plans incorporating market trends and opportunities
- Monitor technical refinement and development updates throughout the collection lifecycle
- Manage prototype reception and participate in collection review committees
- Formulate product narrative and develop sales support materials for showroom presentations
- Coordinate 360-degree product photography shoots and manage pricing in euros and foreign currencies
- Serve as category reference point for 360-degree deployment across Communication, Digital, Retail, Training, and Visual Merchandising functions
- Oversee product information documentation and maintain accuracy across all channels
- Manage press sample requests and track associated orders
- Oversee e-commerce merchandising strategy including product photography, descriptions, and visual content
- Manage prototype inventory, photography, and product shoot logistics
Qualifications
- Fashion industry passion and strong knowledge of current trends in fashion and accessories
- Business school or specialized Master's degree in Fashion (or equivalent)
- Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent English language skills
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities
- Adaptability and dynamic approach to work

Entry-level; no prior professional experience required (apprenticeship position for recent graduates or career changers)
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or equivalent; or currently enrolled in or recently completed a specialized Master's program in Fashion
