Ginori 1735 (Kering) in Florence seeks a Stock Controller for the boutique—entry-level inventory role supporting store operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and record incoming merchandise accurately and promptly.
- Organise and maintain stockroom layout to preserve order and accessibility.
- Prepare and replenish merchandise on the sales floor to support retail operations.
- Manage transfers of product between the stockroom and the boutique.
- Support periodic inventories and formal stock-take procedures.
- Identify and report stock discrepancies, damages and overages to the store manager.
- Collaborate continuously with the sales team and store manager to ensure efficient operational flow.
Qualifications
- Interest in or prior experience in warehouse, logistics or stock control activities, preferably within a retail environment.
- Organised, methodical and attentive to detail with a strong sense of reliability.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with different interlocutors.
- Respectful of procedures and able to meet established timelines.
- Selection is open to candidates registered under the Italian targeted-placement lists (Law 68/99).
