Role & Responsibilities
- Assist with frame impression activities, including stretching and tensioning canvas onto metal frames followed by adhesive application
- Learn manual and machine-based emulsion management for screens
- Develop proficiency in both manual (film-based) and digital frame impression techniques
- Execute impression and retouching operations on screens using pneumatic presses
- Conduct frame inspections to identify necessary retouches and verify design accuracy for production
- Support color preparation and screen printing machine setup
- Monitor chromatic rendering through progressive color verification of initial printed sheets
- Collaborate on production printing and sample creation in accordance with company procedures and standards
- Assist with archival and organization of frames, progressives, systems, and films for proper reuse
- Learn collodion application operations using dedicated machinery
