Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform corrective maintenance on production equipment to restore operational conditions as quickly as possible following faults or breakdowns.
  • Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities to reduce downtime and enhance machine reliability.
  • Carry out workshop tasks including repair of mechanical components, fabrication of parts to drawing, and disassembly/reassembly of mechanical groups and subassemblies.
  • Diagnose equipment failures in collaboration with the Engineering & Maintenance Coordinator and the maintenance team; propose and implement corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Work in strict compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures during all maintenance activities.
  • Be available for on‑call/standby rotations and respond to urgent interventions with a focus on safety and speed.

Qualifications

  • Technical diploma (e.g., mechanical technician, mechatronics, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance; experience in ceramic/porcelain production or similarly complex production environments is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical schematics.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics (oleodynamics) and pneumatics.
  • Hands‑on experience with conventional machine tools (lathe, milling machine, drill) and basic metalworking.
  • Competence in welding and light carpentry/metal fabrication.
