Role & Responsibilities
- Support the design team in researching aesthetic references, decorative motifs, color palettes, and visual materials for new porcelain collections
- Assist in creating moodboards, research boards, color palettes, and visual materials for concept development
- Collaborate on new creative concepts, special projects, artist collaborations, and co-branding initiatives
- Gather and organize references from the Ginori historic archive, contemporary market, art, design, and decorative disciplines
- Create sketches, graphic proofs, patterns, decorative details, and preliminary visual proposals
- Prepare working files and materials for collection development
- Progressively execute small decorative installations and graphic adaptations on porcelain forms
- Assist in preparing development boards, internal presentations, and visual materials for collection meetings
- Monitor prototyping timelines and ensure deadlines are met across design, development, and manufacturing phases
- Coordinate with Product Development to facilitate information flow between Style Office, Production Development, and Manufacturing
- Organize and maintain project materials including sketches, color proofs, decorative references, samples, and documentation
- Support digital archiving of historic brand books and iconographic materials
- Catalog images, patterns, decorations, historical references, and research materials systematically
- Update files, folders, and documents according to naming conventions and shared office standards
Qualifications
- Student, recent graduate, or early-career professional in Product Design, Graphic Design, Textile Design, Decorative Arts, Illustration, Fine Arts Academy, or related disciplines
- Academic or professional experience in pattern development, decoration design, illustration, or product design projects
- Strong aesthetic sensibility with attention to color, composition, and decoration
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint
- Knowledge of 3D software or product visualization tools
- Experience with generative AI tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, or equivalents for visual research and creative development
- Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken
