Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure all in-store spaces reflect the Galeries Lafayette graphic charter, merchandising principles, and visual identity standards
- Enhance the customer journey by adapting product displays to align with seasonal themes, retail events, and commercial campaigns
- Analyze merchandising performance indicators to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of visual displays and installations
- Maintain alignment between merchandising strategy and operational requirements across the store
- Lead and mentor the visual merchandising team, providing guidance and support for daily execution and project delivery
- Conduct individual and group training sessions to educate sales teams on merchandising practices and visual presentation standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in visual merchandising, ideally within a retail environment
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategic merchandising directives into compelling in-store presentations
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret performance metrics and adjust tactics accordingly
- Proven leadership experience managing and motivating a visual merchandising team
- Excellent spatial design and aesthetic judgment
- Fluent French language skills required for team communication and collaboration
