Confidential luxury maison — Paris: Technical Services Technician role to maintain boutiques, equipment and facilities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance of boutique fixtures, building systems and technical equipment (electrical, lighting, HVAC and plumbing).
- Respond to service requests from retail operations and resolve onsite technical incidents in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and supervise external contractors and specialist vendors for installation, repair and periodic inspections.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools and maintenance consumables; propose replenishment and cost-effective solutions.
- Document interventions and upkeep technical dossiers, maintenance logs and compliance records.
- Support store roll-outs, refits and installations by preparing sites, assisting with technical set-ups and ensuring standards are met.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety and regulatory requirements; carry out routine safety checks and report hazards.
- Collaborate with visual merchandising, retail operations and property teams to minimise disruption to client experience.
Qualifications
- Vocational diploma or technical qualification in electrotechnics, industrial maintenance, building services (CAP, BEP, BTS or equivalent).
- Practical knowledge of electrical systems, lighting, basic HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read technical plans, wiring diagrams and manufacturer instructions.
- Organised, methodical and able to prioritise maintenance work across multiple sites.
- Willingness to work flexibly, including occasional evenings or weekends for urgent interventions and store refits.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years of hands-on experience in building or equipment maintenance, preferably within retail, luxury goods or hospitality environments.
Education
Vocational diploma or technical qualification in electrotechnics, industrial maintenance, building services (CAP/BEP/BTS or equivalent).
