Leading luxury fashion house — Paris: Retail Cashier (21 hrs/week) role at a leading luxury fashion house in Paris.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently, processing cash, card and contactless transactions.
- Maintain and reconcile the cash drawer; follow established cash-handling and anti-fraud procedures.
- Deliver refined, discreet client service consistent with luxury-brand standards, including gift-wrapping and receipt management.
- Support returns, exchanges and after-sale processes while ensuring compliance with store policies.
- Collaborate with sales associates and store leadership to ensure flawless service flow and seamless client handovers.
- Contribute to visual standards of the checkout area and assist with light merchandising and stock replenishment.
- Participate in opening and closing procedures and maintain a professional, tidy point-of-sale environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cashier or sales associate; luxury retail experience preferred.
- Demonstrable numeracy and meticulous attention to detail in cash reconciliation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a polished, client-focused manner appropriate for a high-end retail environment.
- Ability to work a part-time schedule (approximately 21 hours per week), including weekends and evenings as required.
