Leading luxury fashion house in Paris seeks a Quality and Methods Manager to lead QMS, supplier quality and industrial methods.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define, deploy and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) across ateliers and production sites, ensuring compliance with internal standards and relevant regulations.
  • Develop and standardize manufacturing methods, work instructions and process flows to optimize product quality, repeatability and production efficiency.
  • Lead supplier quality activities including qualification, on-site audits, corrective action plans and performance monitoring of external workshops.
  • Run root-cause analysis (8D, FMEA), manage non-conformities and lead corrective/preventive actions to reduce cost of poor quality (COPQ).
  • Design and monitor quality KPIs; produce regular reports and present findings to senior management to drive continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects with R&D, production, sourcing and purchasing to implement process improvements and industrialization plans (APQP).
  • Coach and train production teams and quality inspectors on methods, inspection criteria and quality culture.
  • Oversee incoming, in-process and final inspections; manage product approvals, sampling plans and control plans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, textile engineering, industrial engineering or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record in quality assurance and industrial methods within apparel, leather goods or luxury accessories manufacturing.
  • Formal training or certification in quality methodologies (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, internal auditor credentials preferred).
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and driving change in production environments.
  • Fluent technical writing skills for creation of work instructions, control plans and audit reports.
