Galeries Lafayette seeks an Operations Manager for its Lyon store to lead security, safety, maintenance and cleaning operations, ensure regulatory compliance and oversee budgets and merchandise-flow reliability. The role requires SSIAP 3 certification, retail experience and strong ERP regulatory knowledge. Compensation includes a fixed salary of €50,000–€55,000 gross annually over 13 months, variable pay and additional benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Implement the retailer’s security strategy.
- Ensure compliance with safety and risk-prevention regulations to protect people and property.
- Ensure the safety and compliance of equipment and infrastructure.
- Oversee in-store security and cleaning services and ensure they meet Galeries Lafayette standards.
- Support colleagues responsible for store security and maintenance.
- Improve the reliability of merchandise flows and monitor known and unknown shrinkage.
- Monitor and allocate the budget for the assigned areas of activity.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role in a retail environment.
- SSIAP 3 certification.
- Strong technical and regulatory knowledge of ERP establishments.
- Adaptability: adjust approach and behaviour to different situations, maintain perspective and recalibrate when needed.
- Courage and initiative in a fast-moving environment, including taking calculated risks, sharing views constructively and remaining determined in adversity.
