Galeries Lafayette seeks a Merchandise Planning Analyst Intern in Paris to support retail analytics and business intelligence through Power BI and sales reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct retail analyses to support strategic purchasing and collection development decisions, including inventory tracking, revenue analysis, sell-through rates, and bestseller performance
- Monitor and communicate results across seasonal sales cycles, stock-out rates, and operational metrics to cross-functional teams
- Synthesize commercial campaign performance data and present findings to Buying and Business Analysis teams
- Develop sales analysis reports and dashboards using Power BI
- Design and build reporting solutions to address evolving business requirements
- Consolidate sales statistics and distribute data to supplier and vendor partners
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a business school or equivalent program at Bac +3 or Bac +4 level
- Results-oriented with demonstrated ability to drive impactful business outcomes and align teams toward objectives
- Adaptable learner comfortable accepting and executing challenging assignments with agility
- Strong affinity for quantitative analysis
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated innovation and analytical capabilities

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 1,300 to EUR 1,500 per month.
