Groupe Galeries Lafayette seeks Management Controller in Paris for jewelry brands. Full-time CDI role with €3,000–€3,100/month salary.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define annual performance objectives by brand, including revenue, margin, OTB, inventory coverage, discount rates, and stock landing targets
- Conduct rigorous budget monitoring and optimize overall sector profitability
- Perform collection analysis prior to procurement meetings and participate actively in these strategic sessions
- Propose optimal product assortment recommendations to guide procurement teams in their final selections
- Establish commercial operations structure and determine supply chain protocols
- Oversee inventory replenishment, inter-store transfers, and negotiate stock returns to suppliers
- Serve as key liaison with retail teams to ensure availability of high-value pieces and maintain dynamic inventory turnover
- Develop and maintain weekly and monthly key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards by brand
- Formulate strategic recommendations and propose reactive action plans to achieve commercial targets
Qualifications
- Business School or University graduate at Bac +4 or Bac +5 level
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in procurement, inventory management, or merchandise planning, ideally within retail or luxury sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with strong ERP or logistics management tool expertise
- Demonstrated analytical ability, rigorous attention to detail, and operational autonomy
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage effectively with retail teams and suppliers
- Preferred: Product knowledge or sensitivity within jewelry and fine jewelry categories
