Role & Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical and electromechanical equipment to ensure uninterrupted production and uphold product quality standards.
- Diagnose faults, troubleshoot complex systems and execute repairs on line machinery, conveyors, HVAC, pumps and production utilities.
- Operate and program basic PLC logic, adjust sensors and control parameters in collaboration with automation specialists.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams and technical manuals.
- Carry out planned maintenance activities, document interventions and update maintenance logs and spare-parts records.
- Collaborate with production, quality and engineering teams to prioritize interventions and minimise downtime.
- Implement continuous improvement proposals to optimise equipment reliability and maintenance procedures.
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE rules, maintain orderly work areas and apply lockout–tagout and other safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Vocational diploma or equivalent in electromechanics, industrial maintenance, mechatronics or related discipline (e.g., CAP, BEP, BTS, or technical certificate).
- Certified knowledge of electrical safety and preventive maintenance procedures; formal training in lockout–tagout/HSE preferred.
- Practical experience with PLCs, pneumatic and hydraulic systems; ability to read technical drawings.
- Demonstrable mechanical aptitude and proven track record of troubleshooting industrial equipment.
- Valid driving licence for site travel (if required by facility).

Experience
Typically 2+ years of hands-on experience maintaining industrial machinery or production equipment, preferably within a manufacturing or luxury goods environment; direct exposure to PLCs and automated lines is advantageous.
Education
Vocational technical diploma (CAP/BEP/BTS) or equivalent in electromechanics, industrial maintenance, mechatronics or a related field.
