Role & Responsibilities

  • Operate forklift and other certified lifting equipment to move, load and unload goods in compliance with CACES authorisation and site safety rules.
  • Receive, inspect and register inbound deliveries; verify quantities and condition of goods against delivery documentation.
  • Prepare and stage customer and inter-departmental orders (picking, packing and labelling) to meet dispatch schedules and accuracy targets.
  • Maintain accurate stock records through regular cycle counts and immediate reporting of discrepancies to warehouse management.
  • Ensure storage areas are orderly and compliant with housekeeping and safety standards; assist with inventory optimisation and stock rotation.
  • Collaborate with logistics, quality and retail teams to support replenishment, returns processing and special shipments for boutiques or production.

Qualifications

  • Valid CACES certification appropriate for the site’s forklift categories (documented on hire).
  • Demonstrable adherence to health and safety protocols and safe machine operation.
  • Physical fitness and capacity for manual handling tasks; ability to work on feet for extended periods.
  • Reliable timekeeping, strong sense of responsibility and the ability to function within a fast-paced team environment.
