Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations of a defined logistics area or warehouse, ensuring efficient inbound, storage and outbound processes.
- Manage, coach and develop a team of logistics operatives and supervisors, including staffing, rostering and performance reviews.
- Monitor and drive KPIs for productivity, service levels, stock accuracy and lead times; implement corrective actions when targets are not met.
- Coordinate inbound receipting, quality control, stock replenishment and order fulfillment to support retail, wholesale and e‑commerce channels.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, customs and regulatory requirements; maintain loss-prevention and traceability standards.
- Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives (process optimisation, layout, slotting, picking methods) to reduce cost and increase service.
- Liaise with carriers, 3PL providers and internal planning / supply‑chain teams to secure capacity and resolve transport or inventory exceptions.
- Control operational budgets for the area, support capex proposals and manage basic administrative tasks (reports, audits, SOPs).
Qualifications
- Proven experience supervising logistic/warehouse teams with responsibility for operational results and people management.
- Strong operational knowledge of warehouse processes: receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping and inventory control.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse performance data and implement improvement plans to meet KPI targets.
- Clear understanding of HSE requirements in a warehouse environment and experience enforcing safety standards.
- Fluent French is typically required for local operations; professional English is advantageous for cross-border coordination.

Experience
Typically 3–5 years in progressive logistics or warehouse roles with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial position; prior exposure to retail, fashion or luxury goods distribution is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in logistics, supply chain, industrial engineering or a related discipline; professional certifications in logistics or continuous improvement are advantageous.
