Galeries Lafayette seeks a Food Quality Assistant at Paris Haussmann to ensure food safety compliance and manage quality systems across its gourmet operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze food service quality indicators using laboratory data, control reports, and digitized self-audit systems
- Track and coordinate action plans across multiple points of sale within the quality assurance scope
- Maintain and update digital Production Management System (PMS) records
- Update and manage EUROFINS audit grids and associated quality standards references
- Support the Quality Manager in all assigned quality assurance functions
- Oversee food quality events including product recalls, withdrawals, and regulatory inspections
- Contribute to the implementation of the Quality Management System review process
- Ensure periodic, structured analysis of the quality management system
- Verify compliance with all applicable food safety regulations and industry standards
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for the quality system
Qualifications
- Master's degree in quality management, agro-industry, or food safety
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or equivalent productivity software
- Understanding of food safety regulations and quality assurance principles
- Familiarity with digital audit and quality management tools
Skills
Experience
Experience in food quality assurance or related food safety roles is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate agility in learning new systems and processes, proactive problem-solving abilities, and comfort adopting emerging technologies. Experience with retail or multi-location food service environments is advantageous.
Education
Master's degree in quality management, agro-industry, or food safety required. Equivalent professional qualifications in food safety management may be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 2,210 to EUR 2,355 per month.
