Role & Responsibilities
- Design and update fire safety plans using AutoCAD, including evacuation routes, smoke management systems, automated sprinkler networks, and firefighter intervention strategies
- Monitor maintenance, upkeep, verification, and inspection activities conducted by accredited agencies and external specialists
- Address observations and recommendations from fire safety commissions, insurers, and accredited bodies relating to existing plans
- Participate in the design of technical drawings for building permit submissions and DACAM documentation
- Contribute to the Internal Fire Safety and Rescue Service (SSIAP) on-call rotation
Qualifications
- Vocational Baccalaureate in Building Technician Studies (Bac Pro Technicien d'Études du Bâtiment) or equivalent
- OR Higher education qualification: BTS in Building, BTS in Civil Engineering Works, or DUT in Civil Engineering and Sustainable Construction
- First professional experience (including apprenticeships)
- SSIAP 1 certification preferred; training will be provided if not held
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Knowledge of building regulations and fire safety systems
