Galeries Lafayette seeks a management accounting intern in Paris for retail and digital financial analysis, starting January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in monthly close procedures and e-commerce P&L tracking across digital operations
- Validate e-commerce orders and provisions while monitoring revenue and variable cost performance
- Track and analyze all marketing-related costs including CRM campaigns, media, social media, and event expenditure
- Contribute to monthly loyalty programme cost analysis and budget reconciliation
- Support profitability monitoring and stock management for flagship department stores
- Prepare revenue reporting and conduct margin analysis across store segments
- Assist business units in developing and building annual financial forecasts and budgets
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Bachelor+4 or Master's programme (business school or equivalent)
- First experience in management accounting or financial control preferred
- Ability to manage new challenges and learn with agility
- Results-oriented mindset with ability to mobilize cross-functional teams to achieve objectives
Skills
Experience
First internship or early career experience in management accounting or financial control is preferred; however, strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage complex financial data are essential.
Education
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor+4 or Master's-level programme in business administration, commerce, finance, or equivalent institution.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Paris, Île-de-France, France.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 1,300 to EUR 1,500 per month.
