Galeries Lafayette is hiring a Customer Service Advisor for its concierge services at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann in Paris. The role covers client welcome and guidance, store and concierge services, loyalty and Cofinoga card support, lounge hospitality and complaint handling. This is a 35-hour-per-week fixed-term contract through 14 March 2027; compensation includes fixed pay over 13 months, variable pay, profit-sharing and participation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and provide the services offered by the space, including cloakroom facilities, stroller loans, gifts and shopping storage.
- Inform clients about the store’s commercial activities and events.
- Direct and accompany clients around the store.
- Maintain the space and ensure a high standard of welcome.
- Identify clients’ needs and recommend suitable complementary services and products, including gift cards, loyalty cards, financing cards, deliveries and shipping.
- Provide Concierge Space services, including payment processing, tax refunds, returns, refunds, exchanges, shipping and deliveries.
- Provide services related to the Cofinoga card.
- Ensure the loyalty programme is correctly applied.
- Maintain a high standard of welcome in the Lounges, including the dedicated catering service.
- Apply service procedures and standards rigorously.
- Handle client complaints.
- Escalate complaints and any operational issues to support the continuous improvement of the client experience.
Qualifications
- Client-oriented, with the ability to build trusting relationships and provide personalised solutions.
- Able to adapt to different situations, take an action-oriented approach and adjust approach and behaviour as needed.
- Fluent English and a second language are essential; a third language is an advantage.
