Content & Communications Coordinator at Galeries Lafayette | Paris-based role managing brand content strategy and production for luxury retail
Role & Responsibilities
- Centralize and harmonize content requirements across visual, written, and promotional materials in priority languages
- Collect and evaluate content requests from prospection teams (FIT, Group, Paris), CMO, and other business unit services
- Challenge requirements to ensure relevance and global coherence with departmental strategy and market prioritization
- Create content in collaboration with internal (HSM, headquarters) and external production teams while maintaining GL visual identity and content guidelines
- Source new suppliers within budget constraints
- Manage and optimize digital assets through Google Drive and DAM systems, ensuring accessibility and up-to-date information
- Manage content distribution across JCDecaux digital screens
- Participate in resource planning for content creation projects (internal and external production)
- Track content creation projects from brief to final delivery of print and digital materials
- Conduct competitive intelligence with international scope
- Coordinate photo and video shoot requests and centralize GL production demands
- Evaluate shoot requests based on added value and potential for resource mutualiza
- Collaborate with internal production teams and external vendors on visual and video content
Qualifications
- Diploma from a business school or equivalent
- Successful experience in content production or digital project management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in French and English
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Understanding of printing terminology and production processes
- Strong organizational and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous projects
- Demonstrated interest in international markets, department store retail, food, and beauty sectors
