Galeries Lafayette seeks a Concierge Advisor for its Paris Haussmann flagship location to deliver luxury guest services and create memorable customer experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and accompany customers, ensuring a warm reception and seamless navigation throughout the store
- Provide information about commercial news, events, and services available at the location
- Manage concierge services including coat checks, gift wrapping, gift card issuance, purchase storage, and parcel shipment
- Identify customer needs and recommend complementary services including loyalty cards, financing options, and delivery services
- Process transactions, tax refunds, returns, exchanges, and expedited shipping at the concierge desk
- Administer Cofinoga card services and loyalty programme benefits in accordance with established procedures
- Monitor lounge quality and oversee catering services for VIP customers
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues to drive continuous improvement
- Maintain the concierge area to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
Qualifications
- Fluent in English and at least one additional language (ideally conversational proficiency); knowledge of a third language is a distinct advantage
- Demonstrated customer-service excellence and natural talent for building trust-based relationships
- Adaptability and action orientation in responding to varying customer situations
- Ability to remain composed and professional while managing multiple priorities
- Sound understanding of luxury retail hospitality standards and expectations

Experience
Experience in a customer-facing luxury retail, hospitality, or concierge environment is preferred, demonstrating the ability to anticipate customer needs and deliver personalized service in a sophisticated setting.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; training in luxury retail or hospitality services is advantageous.
