Groupe Galeries Lafayette: Assistant Product Coordinator for Watches & Jewelry, Paris (6-month contract, July 2026).
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct competitive analysis, performance assessment, and portfolio benchmarking; attend Paris trend salons
- Create dashboards and deliver monthly reporting with weekly performance analysis
- Participate in bi-annual product lifecycle analysis and pricing review cycles
- Support assortment review and implementation across all channels
- Maintain product tools including collection structures and product books
- Serve as point of contact for product photography coordination with photographers and creative agencies
- Enrich digital product data ensuring compliance with packshot standards and product descriptions
- Manage product prototypes and sample inventory
- Collaborate on reference creation and updates within CEGID and PIM systems
- Develop technical specification sheets for collections and new product launches in coordination with suppliers
- Contribute to continuous process improvement and internal procedure documentation
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a business school or university program at Bac+4 or Bac+5 level
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and PowerPoint—essential
- Prior experience in jewelry, fine jewelry, or watchmaking—advantageous
- Strong collaborative abilities with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively across multiple internal departments

Experience in jewelry, fine jewelry, or watchmaking is preferred but not mandatory; the ideal candidate is currently a student seeking a six-month full-time contract position.
