Leading luxury fashion house (Paris) seeks Assistant Merchandise Flow Manager (Work‑Study) to support logistics, inventory and replenishment operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support daily management of merchandise flows between suppliers, central warehouses and retail points to ensure on‑time deliveries and accurate assortments.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, monitor transport schedules and follow up on deviations or delays with logistics providers.
- Maintain and reconcile inventory data across ERP/WMS systems and point‑of‑sale to ensure stock accuracy.
- Produce and analyse operational KPIs and regular reports (lead times, in‑transit stock, fill‑rates) to support decision making.
- Liaise with merchandising, planning, retail and customer‑facing teams to prioritise allocations and manage replenishment during launches and peak seasons.
- Handle claims, discrepancies and corrective actions with carriers, suppliers and warehouses until resolution.
- Contribute to process improvement projects and ad‑hoc initiatives to optimise flow efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Support seasonal peak operations, product launches and roll‑outs by coordinating execution plans and resource needs.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Merchandising or equivalent (work‑study/alternance required).
- Previous internship(s) or short experience in logistics, supply chain or retail operations is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced, seasonal environment.
- Professional communication skills; able to liaise across merchandising, logistics and retail teams.
