Role & Responsibilities
- Support the accounting team with daily bookkeeping and the preparation of journal entries.
- Process and validate supplier invoices and assist with accounts payable workflows.
- Support accounts receivable activities, including invoicing follow-up and credit control preparation.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain account ledgers to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Contribute to month‑end closing procedures and the preparation of routine financial reports.
- Assist with VAT, tax documentation and ad hoc regulatory reporting as required.
- Prepare documentation and workpapers to support internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (purchasing, operations, HR) to resolve accounting queries.
Qualifications
- Current enrolment in a recognised accounting or finance programme (BTS Comptabilité, DUT/Bachelor in Accounting, DCG or equivalent).
- Authorization to undertake a 12‑month alternance/apprenticeship contract.
- Strong numeracy and rigorous attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
