Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the accounting team with daily bookkeeping and the preparation of journal entries.
  • Process and validate supplier invoices and assist with accounts payable workflows.
  • Support accounts receivable activities, including invoicing follow-up and credit control preparation.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain account ledgers to ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Contribute to month‑end closing procedures and the preparation of routine financial reports.
  • Assist with VAT, tax documentation and ad hoc regulatory reporting as required.
  • Prepare documentation and workpapers to support internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (purchasing, operations, HR) to resolve accounting queries.

Qualifications

  • Current enrolment in a recognised accounting or finance programme (BTS Comptabilité, DUT/Bachelor in Accounting, DCG or equivalent).
  • Authorization to undertake a 12‑month alternance/apprenticeship contract.
  • Strong numeracy and rigorous attention to detail.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Professional discretion and respect for confidential financial information.
