Frette seeks Senior Manager, FP&A in New York to lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis for the North America business.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting process and long-range strategic planning
- Manage monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles
- Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, investments, and business cases
- Analyze financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods
- Serve as trusted financial advisor to business leaders
- Partner with department heads to understand operational drivers and financial impacts
- Act as primary commercial finance business partner for retail, wholesale, hospitality, ecommerce, and marketing teams, reviewing monthly results and providing strategic advice
- Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets
- Manage retail customer contracts and store-level P&L analysis
- Manage hospitality KPIs, commission calculations and payments, and customer agreement implementation
- Manage wholesale consignment inventory, sales processes, and customer contracts
- Oversee inventory management including obsolescence and slow-moving SKU optimization
- Supervise payment allocation and warehouse cost management while reconciling physical inventory counts
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency
- Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting with comprehensive variance commentary
- Prepare executive-level financial reports, dashboards, and presentations
- Monitor KPIs and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Conduct variance analysis and explain business performance to senior leadership
- Evaluate investment opportunities through financial modeling and scenario analysis
- Lead sensitivity and risk analyses for strategic projects
- Assist in developing long-term financial strategies
- Improve financial planning processes and reporting automation
- Support CEO with cost analysis and contractual compliance verification
- Drive implementation and optimization of FP&A systems and reporting tools
- Standardize reporting methodologies and financial metrics across the organization
- Promote best practices in financial analysis and planning

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or CMA preferred
- 5–8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related fields
- 2–4+ years of people leadership experience
- Experience supporting executive leadership in a mid-size organization
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and strategic planning
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
- Ability to influence decision-making across multiple business functions
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles including US GAAP
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear business recommendations
- Self-starter capable of setting and managing priorities independently
- Exceptional organizational skills with demonstrated teamwork ability

Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field from an accredited institution. MBA, CPA, CFA, or CMA certification is preferred.
