Role & Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and execution of new product introductions from concept to commercialization, establishing robust processes, timelines, and resource allocation
• Define and implement quality assurance and quality control strategies to ensure products conform to internal specifications, customer expectations, and industry standards
• Champion process engineering initiatives and data-driven continuous improvement across manufacturing and operational workflows
• Ensure all products, processes, copy, and claims comply with national and international regulatory requirements; proactively adapt strategies to evolving regulatory landscapes
• Define and lead global purchasing and sourcing strategy aligned with business growth, quality standards, and compliance commitments
• Oversee sourcing of raw materials, components, packaging, and external manufacturing to ensure supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and ethical practices
• Build strong supplier relationships through commercial negotiations, supplier selection, performance management, and strategic sourcing initiatives
• Lead operational sustainability initiatives including responsible material selection, packaging optimization, waste reduction, and supplier environmental performance
• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams while fostering a culture of critical thinking, innovation, and accountability
• Drive performance management, talent development, and transparent communication across direct and indirect reports
• Establish cross-functional alignment with Global Product Innovation, Marketing, Creative, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, and IT on priorities and decision-making
• Present forward-looking Operations roadmap supporting business growth, operational resilience, system optimization, and scalable network performance

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of progressive technical services or operations experience in the beauty or cosmetics industry
• Demonstrated success leading multiple operational functions including process engineering, regulatory, quality, new product planning, and purchasing
• Deep knowledge of quality systems and regulatory frameworks for beauty and cosmetics
• Proven experience managing and developing teams with direct people leadership and cross-functional influence
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational judgment
• Experience building KPIs, improving processes, and driving measurable performance outcomes in complex operating environments
• Strong executive presence and communication skills with ability to influence across all organizational levels
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field

Minimum 12–15 years of progressive technical services or operations experience in the beauty or cosmetics industry, with demonstrated success leading multiple functions, managing teams, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving enterprise-level operational improvements.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field required.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 200,000 to USD 280,000 per annum.
