Fresh (LVMH) is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst for Operations Finance in Jersey City, NJ. Lead product costing and COGS analysis. $85K–$105K, hybrid.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support operations with inventory visibility, scrap tracking, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) monitoring
- Analyze price variances, overhead absorption, freight costs, scrap, and SKU-level variances to drive margin optimization
- Collaborate with purchasing on vendor costing analysis and direct purchase scenarios
- Lead product cost development from concept through launch, ensuring accuracy and alignment with commercial targets
- Partner with marketing on costing targets and promotional financial modeling
- Participate in budget and forecast cycles (R0/R1/R2) and support actual-versus-budget performance reviews
- Prepare and oversee journal entries and lead components of month-end close processes
- Maintain and continuously improve bill of materials (BOM) costing accuracy, including costs, quantities, and scrap assumptions
- Manage cost activations, price uploads, and standard cost revaluations within the ERP system
- Maintain and enhance COGS, margin, and SKU-level reporting and analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3 to 5 years of finance experience, preferably in product costing, manufacturing finance, or consumer packaged goods (CPG)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, Power Query, and financial modeling
- Hands-on experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, or Oracle
- Proficiency with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Strong foundational knowledge of standard costing, bill of materials structures, and COGS and variance accounting frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and drive analytical solutions in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to partner effectively across cross-functional teams
Skills
Experience
3 to 5 years of experience in operations finance, product costing, manufacturing finance, or consumer packaged goods accounting. Prior exposure to ERP systems and hands-on involvement in COGS management, variance analysis, and month-end close procedures is highly valued.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
