Fresh seeks a Senior Financial Analyst in Jersey City, NJ to drive operations finance, product costing, and COGS visibility within its LVMH luxury skincare division.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support operations with inventory, scrap visibility, and capital expenditure tracking
  • Analyze purchase price variance, overhead absorption, freight, scrap, and SKU-level variances
  • Collaborate with Purchasing on vendor costing and direct purchase scenarios
  • Support new product cost development from concept through launch
  • Partner with Marketing on costing targets and promotional financial analysis
  • Assist with budget and forecast cycles (R0/R1/R2) and actual versus budget performance reviews
  • Prepare close journals and lead components of the month-end close process
  • Own product bill-of-materials costing accuracy, including costs, quantities, and scrap assumptions
  • Manage cost activations, price uploads, and standard cost revaluations
  • Maintain and continuously improve COGS, margin, and SKU-level reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in finance, with product costing, manufacturing, or consumer packaged goods preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, or Oracle
  • Advanced Excel proficiency including pivot tables, Power Query, and financial modeling
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau for analytics
  • Solid understanding of standard costing, bill-of-materials structures, and COGS/variance frameworks
  • Strong analytical and systems mindset with demonstrated ability to improve processes

Experience

Education
