Senior Director, Global Supply Chain at Fresh (LVMH) in Jersey City, NJ. Lead end-to-end supply chain operations. $190K–$230K USD.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Direct daily supply chain activities to ensure efficient product flow and on-time delivery across global operations
  • Monitor and report on supply chain KPIs, addressing issues proactively to maintain service level targets
  • Manage and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity and operational resilience
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives across logistics, warehousing, and procurement in collaboration with Purchasing and Finance departments
  • Lead demand forecasting processes in collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams to generate accurate projections and optimize fulfillment rates and inventory levels
  • Develop and execute global supply plans aligned with production and inventory targets
  • Oversee material and production planning with contract manufacturers to optimize schedules
  • Manage inventory levels to balance service and costs, preventing stockouts and excess inventory
  • Supervise global freight, warehousing, and customs operations to ensure compliance with international trade regulations
  • Maintain accurate supply chain master data in the ERP system and utilize systems to optimize supply chain processes
  • Support the implementation of new ERP systems and digital supply chain infrastructure
  • Guide and develop the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional excellence
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional partners including Operations, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and LVMH supply chain teams
  • Oversee hiring, performance management, and development of team members
  • Conduct comprehensive audits of supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of progressive supply chain experience, with at least 5 years in a management role within the cosmetics or consumer goods industry
  • Broad supply chain knowledge spanning component procurement through distribution to retail
  • Proven ability to lead process improvement initiatives and drive cost efficiencies
  • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with ERP systems and MRP solutions (e.g., Microsoft AX and SAP Public Cloud version)
  • Demonstrated capability to manage and negotiate with third-party logistics providers, contract manufacturers, and component suppliers
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed strategic decisions
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with ability to identify design problems and implement scalable solutions
  • Ability to multitask effectively and identify interrelated aspects of complex projects
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of management and cross-functional teams
