Role & Responsibilities

• Support monthly business reviews preparation and facilitate industry analysis, market trends assessment, SWOT analysis, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis
• Partner with regional and country business unit teams on ROI analysis, forward-looking decision support, inventory optimization, incentive reviews, and A&P and trade spend control
• Conduct monthly financial results analysis and rolling forecasts, monitoring achievement against KPIs and financial performance targets
• Provide strategic financial insights and collaborate with commercial teams to optimize growth within available resources
• Manage stakeholder relationships and partner with regional functional heads on business-critical projects
• Report transparently on business risks and opportunities to senior management, challenging key decisions with data-driven insights and commercial recommendations
• Analyze marketing spend, review vendor selections, and provide optimization recommendations
• Contribute to the effectiveness of internal FP&A function controls and procedures
• Participate in monthly financial closings in coordination with operational and accounting teams
• Analyze monthly delivery of financial targets and report findings to business, joint venture partners, and global headquarters with actionable recommendations
• Measure and analyze monthly discrepancies between actuals and targets by customer segment
• Support monthly reporting to headquarters, local finance, sales, and marketing teams
• Evaluate brand profitability, analyze customer-level and subsidiary-level profitability in accordance with brand management requirements
• Assess business risk and prepare contingency plans to ensure financial target achievement
• Prepare and review monthly P&L statements and management reports
• Handle local reports requested by regional and headquarters teams
• Support the Australia market in the absence of a dedicated local controller
• Manage the complete budgeting process and coordinate inputs from all internal stakeholders
• Build bottom-up budgets for each business division and back-office cost centers including Finance, HR, IT, Marketing, and Legal
• Maintain cost control responsibility and provide reports, rationale, and recommended action plans for tight budget management
• Support the brand in preparing multi-year strategic plans
• Prepare budget presentations for senior management review
• Participate in finance and IT projects for controlling function implementation
• Continuously improve processing efficiency and controlling capabilities
• Reinforce internal control requirements and implement necessary procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years of business controlling and/or audit experience
• Business, financial, or accounting degree or equivalent
• Proven experience in luxury, FMCG, beauty, or retail sectors
• Demonstrated experience in a financial role within an international group
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Strong ability to work independently and autonomously under pressure with tight deadlines
• Demonstrated business acumen with an analytical mindset
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments and business needs
• Strong persuasion and influencing capabilities
• Proactive, meticulous, detail-oriented, and committed to accuracy
• Proficiency working within multicultural teams

Skills

Experience

Minimum 5-8 years of business controlling and/or audit experience, ideally within luxury, FMCG, beauty, or retail sectors. Strong background in financial roles within international groups, with proven expertise in FP&A consolidation, regional reporting, and business partnering.

Education

Business, financial, or accounting degree or related qualification.
